Katarina is an experienced Lecturer and Researcher in Organisational Diversity, Gender, and Organisational Behaviour at Queen Mary University of London, School of Business and Management. She also works as a Business Consultant for various public and private sector organisations, focusing on DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) practices and organisational change. Some of her clients include KPMG, the Civil Service, NHS, Jisc, HEFCE, Freshfields Law Firm, and several British universities.
She holds a PhD from the University of Surrey and an MSc from Queen Mary, University of London. Katarina’s research explores the connections between gender, ethnicity, social class, and migration patterns, with a particular interest in the development of (national and gendered) stereotypes in organisational settings and their impact on organisational behaviour. Her PhD examined the intersection of gender, social class, age, and nationality on the migration experiences of Eastern and Central European domestic workers in the UK, highlighting the nature of precarious work.
