Nicholas Opoku is a lawyer with experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and strategic litigation. Nick has advised several local and international clients, including a major oil corporation and the fourth largest US bank, on a variety of commercial transactions and regulatory compliance issues.
In addition to his legal work, he has consulted on many policy and governance projects for notable multilaterals and civil society organizations. He has several publications in reputable journals on comparative constitutional law and legal reform. His writing has also appeared in Africa Confidential, Business & Financial Times, and other news media. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, Central European University, Ghana School of Law, GIMPA, and KNUST.
