The GH5050 Gender & Health Index:
Organisational profile pages

The Gender & Health Index provides an indication of the overall performance of each organisation since 2018. This page provides a detailed summary of an organisation’s performance or their ‘scorecard’. The scorecards can be downloaded as an image file (.png) or PDF. The benchmarking tool enables users to examine the results of each of the variables and to compare by size, sector, region, and organisation.

The Gender & Health Index enables users to view all organisations at once and that latest analysis on this data can be read in the 2024 Global Health 50/50 Report. Our self-assessment tool applies the same measures as the Gender & Health Index to equip organisations to conduct their own review of policies and practices with results available immediately.

Gender & Health Index
Report Card

Does Mercy Corps support gender equality? The Gender & Health Index measures the performance of 201 organisations active in global health on their gender-related policies and practices. The Index reviews ten variables which assess performance across two interlinked dimensions of inequality: inequality of opportunity in career pathways inside organisations and inequality in who benefits from the global health system. This is a summary of how Mercy Corps has performed since 2018.
