Global Health 50/50 welcomes Traci L. Baird to its Advisory Council

Global Health 50/50 is delighted to announce the appointment of Traci L. Baird, MPH, to our Advisory Council.

Traci joins an esteemed group of global leaders who are dedicated to advancing gender equality and improving health outcomes worldwide. The GH5050 Advisory Council brings together experts across gender, global health, and development, who serve in a personal and voluntary capacity to guide our strategic direction, amplify our findings, and support our mission. We are proud of the Council’s diverse and intersectional representation, and strive for balance across expertise, age, gender, and geography.

Traci brings to the Council over 30 years of leadership in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), with experience spanning Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. As President and CEO of EngenderHealth, she leads a global team committed to improving SRHR, maternal and newborn health, and gender equality. Under her leadership, EngenderHealth continues to champion locally-led development, inclusive partnerships, and meaningful opportunities for all.

In addition to her executive role, Traci is an Adjunct Instructor at Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She holds an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in human biology with a concentration in women’s health from Stanford University.

We are thrilled to welcome Traci to the GH5050 Advisory Council and look forward to her insight, experience, and advocacy in our shared pursuit of gender equality and health justice.
