The This is Gender Platform Has Launched
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the This is Gender platform—an inspiring new digital space where visual storytelling, critical reflection, and meaningful action come together.
The platform brings together years of groundbreaking work, inviting users to explore the complexity of gender and how it shapes the world around us.
Since its inception in 2019, the This is Gender initiative has addressed the need for diverse and reflective representations of gender in global health. Through our annual global competitions, we have curated a remarkable collection that challenges stereotypes and broadens our understanding of how gender manifests across various contexts. With contributions from over 220 artists, photographers, and storytellers, the platform now offers access to more than 250 transformative images.
