CNN / GH5050 Investigation: Here’s why the coronavirus may be killing more men than women. The US should take note

Global Health 50/50 have been working on a collaborative investigation with CNN to look at which of the hardest-hit countries are collecting and reporting sex-disaggregated data on COVID-19, what this data shows so far and what role gender may be playing in driving men’s higher risk of severe infection and death. We are urgently calling on countries to sex-disaggregate their data and make this information publicly available and accessible.
