Forbes – Madhu Pai on how the GH5050 Report shows that global health needs to be global and diverse

“According to the 2020 Global Health 50/50 report released today, privileged older men from elite institutions in the global north call the shots in global health. Not unlike the plutocrats (mostly men) who meet at Davos every year. If Davos has a credibility problem, then global health has a ‘Davos problem'”, writes Madhu Pai, Canada Research Chair of Epidemiology & Global Health at McGill University in Forbes today.

In his piece, Madhu Pai dives into some of the findings from the 2020 Report, from the 70-80-90 ‘glass border’ it uncovers to an exploration of the ‘global health aristocrats’ of today.
