Rebecca is currently pursuing her PhD as a recipient of funding from the UCL-Birkbeck MRC DTP (Health of the Public). Prior joining UCL in London, she spent six years as an adopted Mancunian, a period she cherished just after leaving her beloved city of Rome. During her time in Manchester, she earned an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology and later obtained a Master’s in Social Statistics & Demography at the University of Manchester.
Her professional experience includes serving as main statistical officer for a national report on substance use among young people, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). Additionally, she has contributed her expertise to the CoronaNet global health collaborative project.
