Vedant Shukla is a medical graduate from Mumbai, India. He studied in a rural medical college and trained as a medical intern in the largest tertiary care hospital in Maharashtra aided by the government, serving a diverse population. He is a health policy enthusiast, and Global Health advocate and a champion for youth engagement in decision making, with a keen interest in Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity. He worked towards the same values in the International Federation of Medical Students’ Association (IFMSA) and InciSioN Global- International Student Surgical Network. He aims to advocate for marginalized communities’ health and surgical needs through inclusive and equitable policies with an intersectional lens.
