Invest in gender equality

Power our data-driven movement

Together we can drive change

“Global Health 50/50’s reporting has informed, inspired, and incited us to action as we work to live our values.”

Traci L. Baird, President & CEO of EngenderHealth

Global Health 50/50 is working to advance action and accountability for gender equality in global health. From our flagship global report and Gender and Health Index, to publishing the world’s largest source of sex-disaggregated data on COVID-19, our unique approach combines evidence and advocacy to bring about change.

Your contribution will help us continue our work, including:

  • Supporting early-career researchers across the globe who form the core of our Collective
  • Powering our open-access flagship databases on gender, global health and COVID-19
  • Enabling relentless advocacy targeting global health organisations, governments, academia and the media to prioritise gender equality
  • Challenging narrow representations of gender in global health and development through photographic imagery and storytelling
  • Expanding our global work to bring about concrete change for gender-equality at both the global and national level

Global Health 50/50 is a UK registered charity (charity number 1194015). However for all financial matters, Global Health 50/50 operates as The Global Health 5050 Collective Fund,  a collective fund under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund. Prism the Gift Fund is a UK registered charity, whose mission is to increase the flow of funds into the charitable sector. Prism the Gift Fund acts as the ‘parent’ charity to The Global Health 5050 Collective Fund  providing the following services:

  • Charitable expertise
  • Accountability
  • Governance and Compliance
  • Due Diligence on grant-making
  •  Financial administration

This has given us the benefits of focusing on our cause in a cost-efficient and transparent manner, whilst Prism the Gift Fund provides us with financial administration support. Collective Funds are restricted, which means that the funds raised can only be used to further the specific charitable purpose of the collective fund.
