All gender inequality is not equal

The Lancet Global Health’s Editorial for International Women’s Day 2018 highlights the importance of drawing our attention to the reality that current efforts to challenge gender inequality are not sufficient. With its emphasis on accountability, Global Health 50/50 is a strong step in amending this, yet there is a need still to turn “towards a more progressive agenda in which the most unequal of the unequal are given priority”.
