Women’s political leadership at the UN’s High Level Political Forum 2022

On 13 July, our advisory council member, Rt. Hon. Helen Clark, chaired Choice, Voice and Autonomy: Women’s political leadership for health in a fragile world, a successful side event to the UN High Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development.

More than 600 people from 93 countries across multiple sectors registered for the event, and many more engaged in social media contributing to nearly 500,000 reach for both the #ProtectTheProgress and #PartnersForChange hashtags. You can access the event recording here and use #ProtectTheProgress to keep the conversation going.

There is no time to lose.  We must continue to advocate for the health and rights of the most vulnerable women, children, and adolescents at this critical time in the world.

The event was hosted by Estonia and co-organized by Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH), International Health Partnership for UHC2030 (UHC2030), Women in Global Health and Global Health 50/50.
